Pharmacy scheme will take pressure off surgeries

Pressure on Island GPs could be relieved if people go to their local pharmacy for treatment instead.

The Minor Ailments Scheme has been expanded - you can now get 16 different treatments, on prescription, for a wide range of non-serious conditions.

It's thought to be one of the most comprehensive schemes available.
