TT favourite rules out Top Gear job

Following months of speculation TT favourite Guy Martin has poured water on the rumours that he's set to join Top Gear.

Speaking to Commercial Motor magazine Guy said that taking on the presenting role would mean changing his life altogether.

He instead pledged his commitment to his love of truck fitting and motorbike racing, saying his low amount of current TV work already takes up a lot of time.

Guy said the lucrative offer on the table has not swayed him as he already earns enough, and has no desire to 'live like a rock star'.

It's not yet known what the future holds for the Grimsby star's racing career following a serious crash earlier this year at the Ulster GP.
