Give tenants breathing space say commissioners

Social housing tenants in Onchan need to be given "breathing space" and not a rent hike.
Onchan Commissioners is asking government not to increase their rents in April next year.
They say central government has little or no understanding of the tenants' ability to pay their rents and think they need time to absorb other price hikes in a range of areas.
Commissioner Rob Callister says it's all about fairness:
