Island recruits 50 army reservists

The Island's first army reserve centre in nearly 50 years will open tomorrow.

It will be based in the old schoolhouse on Hanover street in Douglas.

300 people registered their interest following a recruitment drive in May - with 50 full-time reservists now operational as a result.
