Twenty four shooters participated in the final round of Ayre Clay Target Club’s English Sporting league at Blue Point on Sunday.

Paul Mihailovits and Paul Magee were the joint winners of the Trafalgar Hotel sponsored 50 target shoot, each scoring 38. Nigel Moffatt was third on 37.

Results:

A Class: 1, Paul Mihailovits 38; 2, Dave Corlett 34; 3, Brian Mylrea 32.

B Class: 1, Paul Magee 38; 2, Nigel Moffatt 37; 3=, Juan Cowley and Jack Kneen 36.

C Class: 1, Arthur Hayes 35; 2=: Steve Brew and Ben Richards 33.

This weekend there is a double header of Universal Trench. Entries for the selection shoot on Saturday close at 12.30pm. Sunday’s competition is the UT Manx Championship and entries close at 10.15am. There is also a 50 target Sportrap competition and English Skeet practice.
