Friends Provident employees who lost their jobs yesterday are being told help is on hand.
33 people at the Castletown headquarters face redundancy after the company announced it's reducing its presence on Island.
Staff at the Job Centre are offering support to those people affected and say the job market at present is "buoyant".
The Department of Economic Development says the decision is no reflection on the sector as a whole.
