DHSC saves over two million in tendered contracts

£2.25 million has been saved in the Department of Health and Social Care by putting contracts out to competitive tender.

The savings from each government department in the last year have been calculated.

Head of procurement Neil Davidson says it's because competition is now welcome.

He explains that it's about being fair to the private sector:
