Man charged after serious Mountain Mile crash

A Ramsey man has appeared in court charged with causing serious injuries to two road users.

40-year-old Robert Huyton chose to enter 'no plea' to two offences of causing serious bodily harm by driving without due care or consideration.

His car was involved in a head-on collision with a transit van on the Mountain Road, near to the Mountain Mile, on July 8th.

As a result of the crash the three people in the van were injured - two seriously.

The case has been adjourned for a pre-trial review which will take place on November 10th.
