MHK concerned we're creating an 'underclass' on the Island

Concerns have been raised that we're creating an underclass on the Isle of Man.

That's the view of Onchan MHK Peter Karran who is referring to the relaxation of the work permit system for people working minimum wage jobs.

He has written to the Economic Development Minister arguing that it will be impossible for these people to support themselves.
