Jobseekers notified of allowance cuts

Jobseekers have been notified that their allowance will be cut from 1st November this year.

Social Security staff are contacting affected people to ensure they're aware of the changes.

In some instances the allowance will be reduced by 40 per cent for those who have been signed on for over a year.
