Bike passenger left seriously injured following collision last weekend

Police are seeking witnesses to a serious road traffic collision which occurred in St Marks Village last Saturday.

A white LDV panel van and a UK registered Honda GL1000 motorcycle collided at around 2.25pm - the rider was carrying a female pillion passenger.

Although the van driver and rider of the bike were left uninjured - the passenger has been flown to Aintree Hospital in Liverpool, where she remains in a serious condition.

Police ask that anyone who saw what happened make contact immediately by calling Castletown Police Station on 822 222.
