Cafe owners urged to apply for 2016 outdoor licence

Café owners in Douglas are being urged to apply for 2016 outdoor licences now.

The Douglas Development Partnership is encouraging businesses to plan ahead so that it can ensure high standards are met on town centre pavements.

It's looking for well-presented quality furniture and barrier fittings at the planning stage so that customers are more likely to linger in retail areas.
