Racer dies in final MGP race

A racer has died following injuries he sustained during Friday's Senior Manx Grand Prix race.

Well-liked Sheffield man David Taylor came off his bike near to the Brandywell area in the final event of this year's Festival of Motorcycling.

It marked his first year back to the MGP since 2012 - beforehand, he'd raced at each meet since 1996.

The Manx Motorcycle Club said he will be missed by everyone involved in the event.
