Over one million people view local bands video

Over a million people have viewed a music video posted on-line by local Celtic music band, Mec Lir.

It was shot during a press conference at the recent Lorient Traditional Music Festival in France.

In a relatively short period of time, 1,020,700 have viewed the show piece video - and the number is rising daily.

We spoke to Tom Callister from the group, he says it's fantastic to see such a huge audience appreciate traditional music:
