Enterprise Fund has captured imagination of business community
Tue, 01 Sep 2015
An Enterprise Fund that would cost the taxpayer £50 million has "captured the imagination" of both local and international business.
That's according to Economic Development's chief executive officer - who says a consultation on the new scheme is proving successful.
It's designed to support the growth of new business through grants, loans and equity investments for start-ups already based here, and others located elsewhere.
Minister Laurence Skelly hopes it will create new jobs and 'future-proof' the economy.
