Tens of thousands of pounds are expected to be raised today as the Island rallies in the face of cancer.
Walkers are limbering up for the start of the 24-hour Relay for Life which will take place at the NSC in Douglas.
The event encourages people to "celebrate, remember and fight back" against the disease - all money raised is donated to Cancer Research UK to fund lifesaving research.
