A Liverpool man who was caught hiding over £3,000 worth of heroin in a cereal cupboard will be sentenced in October.
27-year-old John Slater appeared at Douglas Courthouse last week - he's previously pleaded guilty to three counts of possession of the Class A drug with intent to supply.
Police stopped him on August 10th in Douglas - a later search found 23 wraps of the substance in his buttocks, officers then searched a house in Onchan where he resides finding wraps worth £3,780.
The drug was also found in its unprepared form and a small quantity of cannabis was also recovered - in addition Slater admitted concealing criminal property worth £1,205 at the Isle of Man Bank.
The substances have now been sent away for testing and social enquiry reports have been requested before Slater is sentenced on October 16th.
There was no application for bail and he was remanded at the Isle of Man Prison.
