Holidaymakers told to check travel advice before departing

Island holidaymakers are being urged to check the safety advice for their intended destination before travelling.

It follows a number of terror attacks at popular tourist spots in recent months.

The latest in Bangkok claimed the lives of 20 people.

Ricky Dunnage is from Island Travel - he says although incidents like this are highly unlikely there are procedures in place that can offer peace of mind:
