Children in the south of the Island are putting their lives at risk by entering derelict buildings.
Police are now calling on parents to help educate their youngsters after a number of reports of people going into the empty and dangerous properties over the summer holidays.
They are full of potential hazards like weak floorboards, lack of lighting and exposed cables which could prove fatal.
PC Mikey Taylor is urging anyone who notices an unsecured derelict building to report it immediately:
