Celebrate, remember, fight back - that's what people on the Isle of Man will do during this year's Relay for Life event.
58 teams will line up for the 24 hour walking relay at the NSC in Douglas on August 29th.
The aim is to raise as much money as possible for Cancer Research UK - to date fundraisers on the Island have raised over a quarter of a million pounds.
This year's target is to add another £85,000 into the pot - event chair Nicola Walkingshaw says every penny raised helps save lives:
