The cost of blocking a planning application to develop Callow's Yard is being questioned.
Onchan MHK David Quirk is using Tynwald questions over the summer recess to quiz Infrastructure Minister on the matter.
The owners of the Castletown development won a Petition of Doleance case against his department last month.
Political member Kate Beecroft dismissed an appeal brought by the claimant against the refusal of planning permission - however that decision was quashed as unlawful by the courts.
