Students learn their fate as A-Level results day arrives

It's been a busy morning at the Island's secondary schools with over 400 A-level and AS students finding out if their hard work has paid off.
For the year 13 leavers the results will have determined if they've done enough to get into their chosen universities.
A full result run down will be published later today, but it's expected the high pass rate of previous years will be maintained.
We spoke to these students from St Ninian's High School:
