Rumours circulate that Starbucks is coming

Rumours are circulating that coffee shop giant Starbucks is headed for the Isle of Man.

Starbucks officials were allegedly on Island yesterday viewing its proposed Douglas premises.

It's mooted to be going into the former Harmony Homes site on Victoria Street.

Starbucks does have a presence here currently - although its outlet is inside a Douglas bank and isn't open to the general public.

A statement from the company says there's 'no news' regarding an Island store - but its always investigating new premises.
