Douglas woman charged with money laundering offence

A woman from Douglas has appeared in court after being arrested on suspicion of money laundering.

38-year-old Kelly Thompson has been charged with one count of concealing criminal property.

It's alleged she tried to deposit £1205 into an Isle of Man Bank account in Douglas on August 10th.

The case has now been adjourned for two weeks- Thompson will next appear at Douglas Courthouse on August 25th.
