Ramsey will commemorate 100 years of losing seamen and a vessel with strong links to the town today.
The first HMS Ramsey sank on this day in 1915 whilst on patrol out of Scapa Flow - killing 21 Manxmen out of 55 who lost their lives on that day.
One wooden cross will be paced at the memorial for each individual in the Courthouse Gardens at 10:55am.
Ramsey Town Commissioners arranged the event out of respect for those who died in the First World War.
