How should road racing be modernised on the Isle of Man?
That's the question being pitched in a public consultation with a view to modernising legislation and reinforcing success off the back of the Island's motorsport festivals.
The Road Races Bill 2015 aims to reduce red tape, boost safety measures and increase road racing times by relaxing restrictions on Sundays.
It would clear up crossover between the Road Races Act and the Highway Act regarding the power of vehicles and other entertainment - like soap box derbies.
The Department of Infrastructure believes that by taking these measures, it's protecting the Island's heritage and 'keeping it relevant to the modern world'.
