People on the Island are being offered better protection from illness following an update to the vaccination programme.
Children and young people will now be given a combined vaccination against meningococcal bacteria.
It can cause serious illness like meningitis or septicaemia.
People aged between 70 and 79 will also be offered a vaccination against shingles.
