Changes to the Douglas Promenade redevelopment plans are getting a mixed reaction from the Manx public.
Last week the Department of Infrastructure conceded to objections and announced it would scrap the "shared space" concept and allocate the walkway differently to give people more room.
Our listeners have reacted - Louisa thinks the plans are "ridiculous", Selina says "pretty paving alone" isn't going to spark investment but Alex thinks it will make a "better first impression".
Project coordinator Jim Davidson says we have the chance to do something different.
Some people are still calling for the road to simply be resurfaced - however design team leader Keith Podmore says that's not an option:
