Two men who are accused of converting criminal property into bitcoins have appeared in court.
26-year-old David Jenkinson, who's remanded at the prison, is charged with converting over £10,000 into the digital currency between February 2014 and May 2015.
He entered "no plea" to the offence at Douglas Courthouse last week - the matter will now be sent to the Court of General Gaol Delivery, his next appearance will be on August 25th.
25-year-old Sam Atkin, who's from Douglas, is charged with converting over £4,000 into bitcoin between February 2014 and April 2015 - his case has been adjourned until August 11th.
Both men are also awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to drugs charges including possessing cannabis, and possession with intent to supply - they're due to be sentenced for those offences on August 21st.
