A delivery driver who blocked the road by parking his vehicle on a clearway has been fined £200.
45-year-old Paul Mcclure pleaded guilty to failing to conform to a traffic direction at Douglas Courthouse this week.
On March 5th the Douglas man's HGV was spotted on Regent Street just before 9am - it was blocking the entrance to Strand Street stopping other vehicles from unloading.
His advocate told the court he was simply following orders to deliver his goods but accepted he shouldn't have parked there.
Mcclure also had his driving license endorsed with three penalty points and was ordered to pay £50 in prosecution costs after being told it should have been "obvious" he was blocking access.
