More enforcement needed to protect fisheries

Enforcement needs to be heightened to protect the Island's fisheries.
That's according to the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture after cuts to policing of Manx waters.
It's believed officers now spend around just two days a week on the water.
This time of year attracts primarily Manx vessels - which don't typically raise cause for concern.
Fisheries officer Rob Annett says as the £12 million industry gets busier throughout the year illegal activity often spikes:
