Public procurement process needs to tighten up, says MHK

Government can't keep haemorrhaging money on sub-contract works.
That's the message from Onchan MHK Peter Karran - who says it's time for the public procurement process to be tightened up.
It follows his failed attempt at moving for the appointment of a select committee which would have enforced 'value for money' protocols.
However the Public Accounts Committee is going to look into the process - Mr Karran explains why the subject keeps coming up:
