Bind Over for man who threw wine at wife

A man from Anagh Coar has been bound over after throwing two glasses of wine over his wife.

54-year-old Colin Mchugh was handed the Binding Over Order at Douglas Courthouse last week.

Police were called to his home at 1.10am on July 1st after the couple had an argument over furnishings in their lounge.

Mchugh must now be of good behaviour, and keep the peace, to all people on the Isle of Man including his wife for the next 12 months - a charge of provoking behaviour was withdrawn.
