The need for greater pension freedom is back on the agenda.
Michael MHK Alf Cannan says he isn't sure why government isn't more forthcoming about introducing it.
Next week, he will ask Tynwald to support the concept.
As it stands UK residents can access their pension pot from the age of 55, with the ability to withdraw as much as they like.
