A teenager from Merseyside who’s been charged with supplying over £14,000 worth of heroin has been remanded in prison.
18-year-old Kyle Roscoe, who has no fixed address, appeared at Douglas Courthouse today where he chose not to enter pleas to four offences.
He’s been charged with two counts of theft from July 11th, possessing heroin with intent to supply from July 13th and unlawfully supplying heroin between December 31st and July 14th.
Police arrested Roscoe on Monday – he told them he’d ingested the drug and was taken to Noble’s Hospital where 20 plastic wraps containing brown powder were found in his possession.
He will now be committed to the Court of General Gaol Delivery for the offences – the theft matters will be dealt with in the Summary Court.
An application for bail was opposed and Roscoe will be remanded at the Isle of Man Prison until his next court appearance on July 23rd.
