Dog attacked outside Shoprite

Police are appealing for witnesses after a dog was attacked outside a supermarket in Peel yesterday.

It happened at around 12.20pm near Shoprite on Derby Road - the Beagle suffered a cut to its stomach which needed treatment.

Officers say the offending dog was black and white and possibly a "Beagle cross Pug" - it was alone with no owner.
