Expert opinion needed before exploration work can start

An expert is needed to oversee government's tender process to find evidence of petroleum and natural gas in Manx waters.

That's according to the director of energy policy - who says the Department of Economic Development is looking to issue exploration licences.

However it's currently lacking the technical expertise.
