A man had to be cut free from a car following a crash in Greeba in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Firefighters were called to the scene of the single vehicle collision just after midnight.
Two people had already been taken to hospital but one man was still trapped by his injuries in the rear of the hatchback.
Fire crews removed the tailgate using hydraulic cutters - a job made difficult due to the position of the vehicle and the damage that had been incurred during the crash.
There is no update as to his condition.
