MER services resume following derailment

MER services have resumed following yesterday's derailment.

The service was suspended between Laxey and Ramsey when a tram left the tracks near to Laxey station.

It caused one of the trailers to fall on its side.

Staff worked overtime in a complex operation to lift it back into place.

Isle of Man Transport apologise for any inconvenience caused.
