Further psychiatric reports need to be compiled before a prisoner's court case can continue.
32-year-old Alistair Cowin appeared at Douglas Courthouse via live video link from the Isle of Man Prison last week.
He's been charged with four counts of arson and two counts of common assault - all allegedly happened at the Jurby facility in January.
The court heard how the prosecution is instructing its own expert from the UK and an adjournment has been requested whilst arrangements are made.
Cowin, who is currently serving a prison sentence for other matters, will appear again in court via live link on July 14th.
