Planning put in for new pizzeria

A former jewellery shop could be transformed into a pizzeria if planning permission is granted.

A planning application has been submitted to change the use of the premises at 20 Broadway in Douglas.

The proposal is to create a pizzeria, and takeaway, which features a traditional wood oven.

The establishment would be open every day except Monday - from 5pm to 10pm between Sunday and Thursday and from 5pm to 12am on Friday and Saturday.

The application is pending consideration.
