Man named who died whilst under police guard

Police have confirmed the name of the man who died under police guard earlier this week.

He has been named as 27 year old Douglas resident Steven Jonathan Corkill.

He was arrested last Friday on suspicion of drug trafficking offences; upon his arrest he was taken to Nobles Hospital, where he died on Tuesday morning.

The investigation into his death is continuing.
