Smart cards outweigh cash on public transport

More smart cards were carried on public transport over TT 2015 than cash.

Over the fortnight almost 5,000 'GO' cards were sold and 217,560 passengers generated an income of £427,000.

Douglas South MHK Kate Beecroft says it's proof the new smart cards are catching on.

She says it'll take time but people here will take up the 'easier' system:
