Visiting biker died from massive blunt force trauma

A German TT fan who was involved in a head-on collision with a car died from massive blunt force trauma.
The inquest into the death of Ralf Zilske was opened at Douglas Courthouse yesterday.
The 52-year-old was riding his motorbike on June 3rd when he was involved in a high speed crash on the Jurby Coast Road.
A post-mortem showed the painter and decorator suffered injuries to his head, thorax and abdomen.
Coroner of Inquests John Needham released his body so that funeral arrangements can take place - the inquest has been adjourned to a date to be fixed.
