That's according to Minister Phil Gawne - who says the department has sold off extra government property and land, and made cuts to it's annual spend on rentals.

 

Treasury is driving the streamlining of the DoI's property portfolio - involving the management of more than £1 billion in assets. 

 

Mr Gawne sums up the departments' long-term plan:
