Air crash investigators en-route to Island

The Air Accidents Investigation Branch is investigating after a helicopter crashed on the Island this morning.

The Bell Jet Ranger came down in fields in the valley just after 9am near to the 33rd Milestone on the Mountain Road.

One man was on-board – his condition is not known.

The AAIB has tweeted to say the team is on its way.
