Salvation Army praises Island's community spirit

People on the Island have been praised for helping 'people in need' following the stormy conditions this week.

The Salvation Army is one of the charitable organisations which offered shelter, warmth and food to TT visitors at its citadel in Douglas.

Other organisations also opened their doors on Monday night - as did many members of the public.
