The House of Keys has one new Member and one old face follwoing today's By-Elections.
In North Douglas, Businessman Ralph Peake topped the poll with 604 votes, 50 ahead of Councillor and former Mayor, David Ashford.
The Liberal Vannin Candidate, Maire Booth received 223.
Within minutes, the results in South Douglas were declared and one of the areas former MHK's, Bill Malarkey was returned to the seat he lost in 2011. He polled 598 votes.
The Liberal Vannin Candidate, Keith Fitton received 502, Amy Burns 273 and Kurt Bucholz 169.
The turnout in both constituencies was around 40%. (39.8% North, 40.1% South)
Mr Malarkey and Mr Peake will be sworn in at a sitting of the House of Keys on Tuesday.
