Last day to have voice heard on benefit changes

It's "vitally important" that everyone actively engages in a consultation about the future of the benefits system.

Today marks the final day of a public consultation on potential changes to social security and National Insurance.

So far around 300 responses have been received - Treasury Minister Eddie Teare says he wants more engagement.

He says all systems must be joined up and consistent for one main purpose:
