MHK to query fairness of Manx Gas payment discount

If you don't pay by direct debit, you're not eligible for a Manx Gas prompt payment discount.

That's the new measure being queried by Onchan MHK Peter Karran - who will ask why it's being implemented in Tynwald on Tuesday.

He's looking to find out why chairman of the Office of Fair Trading David Quirk will be implementing it from 1st July of this year.
